This is a comprehensive marble making class appropriate for beginning and intermediate lamp-workers. Students will cover all aspects of marble making, through discussion and demonstration of various kinds of flame-worked borosilicate marbles. Use of color and dichroic glass will be emphasized for students, with tips on torch settings. Students will make a couple marbles of their own, and receive a demo marble from the instructor. |

This will be a class on flame-worked borosilicate pendants. We will focus on using dichroic glass to add some “Bling-Bling” to your creations. Dichroic can be a challenge to work with so this is a great class for beginners, or intermediate students. Other topics covered in the class will include shop safety, set-up, prep work, use of color, pattern work, design, and shaping all to aid in making your pendants. All students can expect to leave class with several finished pendants. All materials and equipment are provided. |
